NOVEMBER

I wanted to thank everyone who posts comments about our cute little girl or who writes me emails. I don't generally respond, but I do really enjoy reading your comments. Thank you.
So far I think November has been the month of the fewest pictures since Brynn was born. Here are a few cute ones.
Brynn usually wears dresses to GG's house. GG prefers dresses over jeans. I like the jeans.

Here is silly Brynn with a school picture of Daddy stuck to her face after eating frozen raspberries. The two of us were laughing pretty hard. She put it there, not me!

Playing with our friend Marty. Brynn loves being upside down!

Now I'm One!

Brynn turned one on October 4th. It was a beautiful sunny day to have her party outside at Evergreen park. But it was extremely windy. We hired Ed, a friend of mine from work, to photograph the party. These are a few of his pictures. He did an awesome job! So glad I didn't have to think about taking photos too!

Hugging one of her stuffed kitties

We didn't even realize Brynn knew what a phone was or what it was used for! She immediately put this to her ear! So cute!

Can you tell it was windy and bright outside?

Playing with the stinky-plasticky-smelling-purple-made-in-China-elephant party favor

The beautiful-earthy-fresh-smelling-green-shiny pine branch just wouldn't cut it!

Can you say "bok, bok"?

This summer at the Kitsap County Fair we discovered that Brynn loves chickens. So when I found this chicken costume at Value Village I had to get it. It's her "BOKBOK." It is still hanging on a hook above her changing table and she points to it and says, "bok, bok." I dyed some tights yellow, put a yellow diaper cover on her and found some perfect red Bobux shoes to complete the look. She was so cute. Too bad she was sick. Poor little thing had bronchitis and an ear infection. Needless to say, we didn't go anywhere other than the doctor and Walmart to print photos.
Brynn is really into animal sounds. Her first one was a dog. She does a really soft, "wu,wu,wu,wu" and bobs her head while barking. She "cheeps" like a bird, "quacks" like a duck, "moos" like a cow, "roars" like a lion or a bear (this one is really funny - it's a really a low sound), "baas" like a lamb, and I think she was "oinking" like a pig today. She LOVES animals. She kisses our cats, if they let her, and has learned to pat them gently. She has been scratched a couple times.
Anyway, here is Bok Bok Brynn

The top is a sample of the dress my mom is making her for Christmas. We just wanted to make sure it was going to fit. No, it's not going to be acid washed!

Radio Flyer Snail Scooter

This was Brynn's 1st birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy. She loves it. We call it the Snail Scooter. The shell of the snail can be ridden on, it can be turned upside down to be ridden in or to put toys in, or it can be thrown off all together (Brynn's preference) and ridden as a scooter (not shown in the directions)!

Only getting cuter

Here are a few cute pics of the rest of our summer before Brynn turned one.

Playing with some of GG's Tupperware

Fascinated by the view from the ferry as we head to her first Mariner's game

Brynn clapped for the first time at her first Mariner's game. She clapped when everyone else clapped as the guys ran out onto the field. We were so excited as she caught us completely off guard!

Wild morning hair

Playing in Daddy's classroom as we help him get ready for the school year

Checking out our back yard

Giggling as she falls off a cushion while reading books

Loving her duckie bath tub
She gets really excited about baths. She repeats "ba" for bath and she quacks like a duck.

Hugging her Elmo doll
(One of her first huggs)

Yumm! Raspberries! She is addicted to frozen raspberries! She makes the sign for "more" when we open the freezer!

Looking so sweet as she plays in the window
This was one of our last hot summer days.
