Sitting On My Own!

Which one should I choose?

Brynn has been teething the last two weeks and yesterday we felt the first tooth poking out on the bottom. The two are coming in together, but the right one is coming through first. I'll try to get a pic of the little tooth when it gets bigger. We've had a rough couple of weeks.

Brynn was not leaning up against me. She sat about 6 inches away from me and was able to hold herself up for 5-10 seconds.

Me and My Buddy Ti

Brynn loves to pet the kitties and pull out their hair! Ti doesn't mind.

Kiss the kitty!

She is even wearing her kitty fleece from our good friend Kofi.

What Is Daddy doing?

I can't get my eyes off Him!
Here Brynn is watching Greg cut our hedges.

Working Out Is Fun!

Reading With Daddy

This was two Sundays ago when we awoke to it snowing. Three to four inches accumulated. Yah, 3-4 inches in the middle of March! Weird!

Grandma Brenda's Visit

My mom visited from their winter home in California two weeks ago. She stayed with us for six days. Brynn hadn't seen her in over two months. These first few pics (3/8) are from their first day together. When we picked my mom up from the ferry Brynn just stared at her until we got home. After we made it home the stranger anxiety kicked in and Brynn's little lips started to quiver for a couple of seconds. Then she looked at me and was fine. We enjoyed our time with Grandma Brenda. This time, instead of cooking for me every day, she sewed for me every day! Thanks Mom!

Brynn is in the "I love faces" stage. Noses, lips, chins, cheeks... you name it and she's probably grabbed it. Of course she loves hair too!

This is one of her three little stuffed lambs. This is the medium sized one.

One morning in their PJs. This is the first picture I got of Brynn tugging at her ear.

Here is my mom holding Brynn in the Baby Bjorn. They hung out at G.G.'s that Friday while I slept after working all night. Greg stayed home from work that day because he was sick with the flu.

Brynn had a fussy Friday. This was just as she was starting to get sick. She was also just starting to teethe. So I don't know which was making her fussy. This picture cracks me up. She was NOT interested in the book my mom was trying to read her.

FOUR GENERATIONS

Here we are trying to get situated for a group picture. We weren't fast enough.

We finally figured it out. Ugh! Another one of me without makeup!

Another ear-tugger!

Brynn always seems to make it under G.G.'s coffee table. She rolls all over and seems to enjoy being under low furniture.

Cute Girl!

Gimme that camera Mom!

Gimme something! Anything to manipulate and put in my mouth!

Now we have two big contraptions in our living room for Brynn to play in. It's amazing how much baby paraphernalia you accumulate with a little one around! This Rainforest Jumperoo bounces. Another Craigslist find. We have two for the price of one!

Here Greg was getting Brynn ready for bed and he told me to come look. She had stuck Lambie Lamb in her mouth and proceded to explore her feet and do more important things. As long as something is in her mouth she's happy!

Jeremy: 1996-February 25, 2009

This is a picture of my cat Jeremy who died last Thursday morning of Congestive Heart Failure. His lungs filled up with fluid and he basically drowned. It was very sudden, though we had been treating him for CHF for several months. When I realized he was trying to breathe (not just coughing up a hairball), I picked him up and he died in my arms. Greg dug a hole and we buried him in our back yard. I miss him. He was my first cat. He had a good life.

Too Much Fun!

We just bought a Baby Einstein Exersaucer from Craigs List. Those things are over $100 new! I put Brynn in it today for the first time (after scrubbing it down - eew! baby germs!). Her little legs aren't quite long enough for her to turn around in it so she stands on her tippe toes. She loved it. She was kicking her legs and wiggling her arms and torso in delight. Here are some pics of her first encounter.

Dedication

This is a picture from Brynn's dedication (similar to baptism or christening) at our church. We comitted to raise her to know the Lord. Our friends Mark and Elizabeth dedicated their baby Caleb the same night. We go to church on Saturday nights since I work night shift every weekend.
